Education is the one single tool which can proactively reduce poverty. Also, it can improve health, gender equality, peace and stability among the humans. Therefore, in most of the nations it has been regarded as the fundamental human right. Problems like lack of equal opportunities and income disparities can also be eradicated with the help of quality education. Few goals such as employment, earnings, health and poverty reduction can be achieved easily through education.
We are in the age of technology and therefore globalization coupled with rise of technology compels a person to acquire comprehensive techie-skills to survive in the labour market. In this digital space, every conventional skill requires additional knowledge of digital technology and hence the need for a transformation cannot be ignored. Apart from these newly required techie-skills, there are various ancient skills being practiced by the Cultural and Ethnic groups of India. These cultural or ethnic groups live in the villages or on the hills.
We create and form small SHG groups of women and give trainings on a specific skill so that they could start their own business.
